We got an Excursion Package and the Sloth Experience. We were late for the Sloth Experience because of an accident on I 17, and apparently I had put that down for the wrong date (though the Excursion was dated correctly.) The Sloth Experience was booked for the day. However, the staff managed to move a few things around, and we got to do it anyway. We had to hurry to get there though, and though we probably could have made it with the tram, an employee offered to drive us there! I was amazed by their accommodations!
Later we as we were walking through the park several employees would stop what they were doing to ask if we either had any questions or needed any help! This included employees who were driving jeeps, as well as employees who were stationed by certain exhibits.
The Excursion package was incredible. It included the drive around the Serengeti, which I had experienced before, but was just as fun to do it again (and I got to feed a giraffe from my mouth, getting a french kiss like I have never received before!) But it also included a drive to several of the carnivores. At each stop the tour guide stopped and fed, and petted the lions, tigers, bears, etc. It was so much better than the general feeding that we had witnessed a few years ago (though that was awesome too.)
The Tiger Splash Show is not to be missed!
The owner is approachable and always ready to hear about any experiences. He told us that they had recently purchased another 100 acres, doubling the size of the park.
A great day! Plan on spending the whole day. We didn't do the zip lines, though they looked like fun as well.
