If you don't plan your Pearl Harbor trip months in advance, you risk not being able to get a ticket on the day you want to go. To be sure we could make this trip, I booked with Roberts Hawaii and it was a great choice. The bus picked us up within a block of our hotel. The trip up to the national cemetery with rainbows arching over the monuments started the tour. Then we went to the Pearl Harbor Center. Our guide gave us great instructions and plenty of time to see the EXCELLENT movie before the trip on the boat across to the Arizona Memorial. And there was time to view some, but not all, of the museum exhibit halls which are excellent. From there the bus took us to downtown Honolulu and the the King Kamehameha statue, where he took family pictures for all of us both at the statue and at a very large banyan tree very near the statue. The driver/guide was knowledgeable and helpful . He pointed out the city hall, the Lolani palace, and gave history for Hawaii/Oahu/Honolulu that was very interesting. It was a lovely morning and very inspiring!
