Enjoyed the guide, who was knowledgeable , funny and very friendly! He even brought me my forgotten item on the bus to our hotel when his day was over. Very much appreciated! Johnnie’s tour of the city was very refreshing with the history and occasional trivia he shared with us. The Pearl Harbor USS Arizona memorial, and was impressive and this was a good way to see an overview of the place for us to come back to. We even had a chance to visit the submarine and museum (not included) On the way back our guide and bus driver stopped for us to walk around the Iolani palace and sightsee downtown Honolulu which is very pretty! Johnnie also gave us suggestions for great places to eat in town and shared more local trivia. We truly enjoyed the whole experience and highly recommend Johnny for his sunny disposition, kindness and funny jokes!

Bus pickup was on time and good instructions on where to be picked up. However we were just dropped off and verbally told where to go, left on our own to work it out. We expected to view a movie once seated in auditorium but there was no time, we were ushered to the boat to go across to memorial. This was very moving and definitely worth the visit. Once back on shore, we felt there was not enough time to look at everything (museum, movie, gift shop & exhibits outside) as we had to rush back to the bus. Disappointed we missed the movie on the history. The city tour was great & very informative, driver very knowledgeable however again, felt rushed as there were no stops for photos.

The Roberts Hawaii half-day Pearl Harbor and city tour surpassed our expectations. Booking with Roberts, which secured our entrance tickets, and their picking us up just one block from our hotel were big plusses when you consider the relatively early start to this tour and the possibility of being locked out of tickets any given day if you try to visit on your own. The day we arrived with Roberts, no more tickets were available at 11 a.m. As for the site itself, the USS Arizona's memorial was an extremely moving experience emotionally and the 20-minute documentary at the visitors center is highly informative. Robert's city tour on the way back was well done. Our driver/host, David, explained the significance of all key sights and peppered his narration with some personal vignettes that kept things light.
