We didn't bring a car to Philadelphia, but even if we had, we wouldn't have seen, or learned as much of Philly as we did with Big Bus Tours! Since we picked up the tour at a stop other than the beginning, we ended up taking 2 different buses, to hear what we had missed. I'm glad that we ended up getting the complete tour! Both tour guides were excellent, but were probably very different. I'm sure that one could stay on here all day long, with different tour guides, and learn different things, but we only did one complete tour. We bought our tickets for this bus tour at Independence Visitor's Center, but tickets can also be purchased from other locations. I plan to come back to Philly with my daughter, and would consider taking this tour with her.

This bus is a must do trip feature when you first get to the city of Philadelphia. It provides a great overview to major city attractions / sites and has fantastic on board guides to point them out and provide additional commentary. Do NOT get anything less than a 2 or 3 day ticket in order to maximize your use of its features and then ENJOY!

I took my first big bus tour today and let me just say it's the absolute best way to see Philadelphia's most famous landmarks. The best part about it is that there's something for everyone to enjoy. The tour takes you around all of the historical landmarks like the Betsy Ross House and the Liberty Bell, but it also takes you around Center City to some of the modern landmarks. It provides some beautiful views of City Hall and The Art Museum. Our tour guide Z was amazing and kept everyone engaged the whole tour. It's the best way to see Philadelphia everyone should do a big bus tour at least once.
