The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather. Risks: Open air vehicle exposed to weather, wildlife and farm operations. Tour vehicle travels on a bumpy, gravel road. Pets are not allowed on tour due to insurance requirements. Waivers required from each guest. Must be seated on the vehicle 15 minutes prior to departure.

The farm tour at PistachioLand was fun and educational. If you want to learn all about the delicious fruit that is the pistachio, you won’t be disappointed. As a bonus you get some insight into the wine production too. Tara knows her stuff.

We had wonderful time at Pistachioland going on the farm tour, trying pistachio samples and trying their delicious homemade pistachio ice cream! Emilio was a fantastic tour guide and was very knowledgeable about how pistachios are grown. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re in New Mexico!

Oh boy...yes..a lot of work! And we are now well into pistachio harvesting. If you have the chance to visit again, take the tour again and see us in action harvesting the pistachio trees. We will be sure to share your review with Emilio, and thanks for visiting!!
