PistachioLand Farm Tour

Overview

The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather.

PistachioLand is home to the World's Largest Pistachio, 12,000 pistachio trees, vineyard, winery, ice cream parlor and gift shop with free samples of nuts and candy.

Fun place to stop and learn about pistachios and the vineyards there. The tour was very interesting . Definitely do the tour and learn the history of growing Pistachios in New Mexico. We did the wine tasting after the tour in the gift shop.

Very cool and fun experience! I never thought about the origins of pistachios in the United States, and didn't know that different types of seasoned pistachios even existed! Well yesterday was my lucky day, and get this it's all free!! Yep free samples of different flavors of pistachios and a free wine tasting-no obligations or strings attached, but trust me everything is so delicious you will not want to leave without taking home some goodies!! Everyone that we encountered was very friendly, helpful and happy! Take the tour of the pistachio farm and wine vineyard! It's like being submerged into an actual history lesson while enjoying great snacks!

We enjoyed our stop at Pistachioland, even though we did not take the tour. The gift shop had lots to look at including serve yourself samples of pistachios and pistachio brittle. We enjoyed the free wine sampling, too, and bought a bottle of pistachio wine to take home. This is definitely worth a stop!
