PistachioLand Farm Tour

Overview

The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather. Risks: Open air vehicle exposed to weather, wildlife and farm operations. Tour vehicle travels on a bumpy, gravel road. Pets are not allowed on tour due to insurance requirements. Waivers required from each guest. Must be seated on the vehicle 15 minutes prior to departure.

McGinn's PistachioLand

PistachioLand is home to the World's Largest Pistachio, 12,000 pistachio trees, vineyard, winery, ice cream parlor and gift shop with free samples of nuts and candy.

My husband and I stopped by while we were in New Mexico. We decided to take the tour of the farm. James was our tour guide, and he was great!! He was very entertaining and informative. We would definitely recommend the tour. Everyone in the main shop and the ice cream shop were very friendly. The main area had several different flavors of pistachios to sample, and they offered free wine tasting. There is something for everyone there. If we are ever in New Mexico again, we will be stopping by again!

My husband and I heard from a few locals in Ruidoso this place was a must see. And we were not disappointed. They allow you to sample everything they sell including the wine. There is such a variety of anything and everything. A very pleasant employee with a noticeable Southern accent was absolutely charming and helpful. Best customer service I've experienced at a tourist location. Excellent!

Wow what a discovery!!! Wonderful people. We learned a lot about pistachio production. A great wine tasting and yum excellent pistachio ice cream. 😍🤩 The employees are real people, they chat with you, are interested in your story, what a great stop!!! A must, tour of the farm, free tasting of their wine, free tasting of different kinds of pistachios and OMG the homemade pistachio ice cream ouffffff.!!! James and Matt, your are awesome!!!
