Brendan was a phenomenal guide! Very entertaining and informative. He gave a lot of backstory pertaining to the history of Portland and how that information is applicable to the ghost stories he tells. 10/10.

In our 20s and early 30s our friends from college spent many nights in Portland Oregon doing what young people often do. Now that we are creeping up on 40 we thought it would be fun to educate ourselves on the history and ghost stories of our old haunts. Our guide made an impact from the moment we met them dressing in fun time appropriate regalia, intense and an old lantern. We met quickly met inside and then started our walking tour outside. Our guide was very knowledgeable about not just the fun history but also the less well known and frankly darker events as well. I appreciated that they were transparent about what actually happened and not just the white washed version of things. They also were able to speak to personal and word of mouth ghostly experience at about 10 locations. The tour took about an hour and fifteen minutes but this did include a few pauses for street cars blaring music that hindered their presentation as well as a couple houseless folks wanting to engage with our group. Nothing scary or menacing just enough to be a distraction and the tour guide did a great job of kindly redirecting them and getting back to our tour. This really impressed me and our group. We would absolutely do this tour again.

The worst experience of my life!!! No one should ever do this! The tour ended & the guide had me & my 15 year old daughter walk a 1/2 mile by ourselves back to our car in the most dangerous part of town 10:30 at night! She had us walk through/next to homeless tents & people shooting up & smoking rack pipes during the tour. She didn’t even care to walk us around that. She was boring & told what seemed to be the same stories with small variations & was by no means engaging. The most she tried was to show us pictures that didn’t even look like the location with figures in a window that looks like she just pulled them off of google. Oh & it was so “cool” to stop at 2 parking lots. The tour was only supposed to be about an hour but lasted almost 2 hours. I paid for the extended tour & decided not to go on the extension because we were cold, tired & scared (not of ghost but the homeless). If you did go on the extension then she’d be kind enough to walk with us back to the meeting spot where we parked. Honestly the business should be shut down due to putting its customers in danger & showing no care for our safety! I fully believe in ghosts & saw one when I was a kid so I was super excited to do this but I’d rather get back with my ex husband than to ever go on that tour again.
