Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. You get 1.5 hours at the park, but don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

All ports or docks are within 10 minutes walking distances, except one - the A Dock - which provides a “Downtown” shuttle to the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
Children must be accompanied by an adult
At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the name of their ship
A moderate amount of walking is involved.
No food is allowed at the Mendenhall Glacier.
Tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately in layers and for the likely chance of rain. It is recommended that you wear warm layered clothing, a waterproof jacket and comfortable slip-proof shoes

Excellent whale watching tour. The right size boat for the number of people on the excursion. Plenty of room to move around when we were in watching the whales. Saw many whales during our tour. The boat crew and staff were very knowledgeable about the whales. The visit to Mendenhall Glaicier was great - appreciated that our time there was not limited - we caught the shuttle back to Juneau when we were finished visiting the area. Saw a Black Bear and cubs and porcupine while walking the boardwalk trail. Would highly recommend this tour.

Cory did a great job. The service and equipment were great, and a lot of flexibility on the return from Mendenhall Glacier. The staff was very knowledgeable on marine life and local history.

The whale watching tour was great. 5-stars. Lots of sightings. I wish it would last longer. Short 2 hous is too short. The glacier tour is not a tour at all! You are dropped near the visitor center same as you would with the public bus, except the "tour" is much more expensive. And we had to fight for a seat on the return bus. What exactly did we pay for? Our tour included lunch at Tracy's Crab Shack. Nobody at Tracy knew what our combined tour-lunch meant since nobody from the tour company was with us. I give this whole experience 3 out of 5. 5 stars for the whales, 0.5 stars for the glacier and lunch
