Our private Black Hills tour was amazing! Our guide Randy was knowledgable, friendly and very interactive with us. He was flexible to go to the places we wanted to see and we relied on his extensive knowledge of the area on the best places to visit. He knew where to take us to see a variety of animals too which was very exciting. Besides the monuments and parks we saw elk, donkeys, mule deer, white tail deer, prairie dogs and hundreds of bison. It was a great day!

This was an incredible full day family experience starting from even as soon as we booked the tour. Melina was great and called us to inquire if anyone had any food sensitivities for the lunch that was provided. She was also super accommodating when we couldn't find an Uber or taxi at the airport and had to rent a car to be returned the next day. Kevin met us at the airport instead of at our hotel as was originally planned. The tour was great and we were the only people on the tour so it is indeed private. Even though the schedule was totally planned, there was a bit of "wiggle room" for length of stay, pickup, drop off, etc. So the day was definitely tailored to our schedule and itinerary. Kevin was great, very practical and knowledgeable about literally everything on the tour. since he grew up in the area. He knew all of the history of Rapid City, Mt Rushmore, the Black Hills, Custer and Crazy Horse. We had ample time at all of the sites we visited and never felt rushed. The provided lunch was great picnic fare and they even took into account our dietary restrictions. The highlight of the tour was the drive back along the wildlife loop where we saw elk, pronghorn, prairie dogs and herds of bison that literally walked next to the van for like 3/4 mile. Kevin again knew everything about wildlife and it's conservation. The tour took up the whole day and Kevin even got us back to our hotel in time for our dinner reservation. I accidentally left my phone charger in the van and Kevin and Melina were sweet enough to drive back and meet us at the restaurant to return it. If you are going to the area, this company is a MUST!!!!

Our family of three had a great experience! Well with the money spent. Our guide Joel was friendly and informative and was a delight to spend the day with. He even customized our experience to better meet our wants and need which meant we were able to do a bit more walking and site seeing rather than spend time in gift shops etc. Conversation was always comfortable as well as the vehicle. The picnic lunch provided was also very good! (Turkey sandwiches on fresh hoagie buns with cheese, fruit, chips, cookies and pop/water) We enjoyed it so much we are thinking about booking a different tour of the badlands tomorrow and we hope we get Joel again!
