Kevin and Melina were the perfect hosts. They were fun, down-to-earth and real. They became quick friends with our group and were very cognizant of every detail of comfort, nutrition, technical expertise, route expertise and foresight. They took some valuable pictures that they shared with the group....such great memories! we biked on both road and trail. It was absolutely gorgeous. They customized our trip according to everyone's different requests and needs. We couldn't have had a better experience. I would highly recommend the Black Hills Tour Company for your next bike tour!

In the interest of being Covid-smart (especially in South Dakota where NO precautions are encouraged!) my friend and I booked two private tour days–- the tour of the sights in the Black Hills, and a day of cycling in the Badlands. We thoroughly enjoyed both days' activities, in the company of our fearless guide Joel, who was energetic, good-natured, and a bottomless wealth of relevant encyclopedic knowledge. (And a good sport, as his schedule changed at the last minute and he did not know of our added plan for a hike--in the cold and rain as it turned out--for which he was not particularly well equipped. He was a champ!) Happy to report that the Tour company did an excellent job observing Covid protocol, masks and hand sanitizer/wipes were available and used throughout the day, the provided lunch was very carefully presented, and safe distances kept. As a travel tour junkie, I can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences I've ever had.
