Melina and Kevin were very accommodating and patient when planning our private tour. We requested a full day driver and van to take us to Mount Rushmore and surrounding areas. The van had to be large enough for a family of 13, including seven children ranging in age fro 9 months to 8 years old. The van accommated all of the necessary car seats comfortably. Melina suggested a variety of activities that would be of interest to the entire group. The drive time on the bus was kept to a minimum and the sightseeing was wonderful. Our tour guide, Joel, was extremely knowledgeable. He engaged the young children as well as the adults. Our diverse group was intrigued while listening to Joel share his vast knowledge and interesting stories about the area. He also provided the children with just the right amount of information to keep their attention. The adults all learned a great deal about the entire area and in particular the Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse area. It was a consensus of the family that we would definitely hire Black Hills Tour Company again upon our return.

This was truly an epic lifetime journey. Joel had an encyclopedic knowledge of the region and was an unbelievable guide. We have traveled the world and had never experienced an 8-hour excursion in such a fully immersive and comfortable way. We will have lifelong memories of our trip.
