USS Arizona Memorial

The USS Arizona Memorial, at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii, marks the resting place of 1,102 of the 1,177 sailors and Marines killed on USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and commemorates the events of that day. If tickets to the Navy boat launch tour out to the Arizona Memorial are available by the National Park on the day of your tour they will be provided. Otherwise, the Arizona Memorial can be seen from the shoreline at the Visitor Center.

We had a wonderful informational, entertaining day. We seen and heard the historical part of Honolulu, seen the punch bowl cemetery , a wonderful lunch, off to Pearl Harbor. On the way to Pearl Harbor, Ernie, our tour guide, told some of the history leading up to the bombings, what we would see when there, got our tickets, and just made sure we was where we needed to be. Then over to the Missouri and more history of the ship. The trip began with Leis for the ladies, and finished with the most delish banana bread. We had small group of 12. And everyone enjoyed each other, laughed and joked together and enjoyed talking to everyone from different parts of the US and other countries. This is a wonderful tour, nice bus, wish we could have spent more time at Pearl Harbor. We think that is what tourist come to see.

Ernie was our tour guide and was amazing with information and thoughtful insights into our tour sites. Lei flowers lunch and banana bread all little perks provided by Polynesian Adventure. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 was not able to get out at punch bowl ( tour buses are not allowed to let participants depart due to past issues) and it was a little more than I wanted. Flip side my husband could have extended it another hour if the Missouri was not shutting down. Well run operation and would definitely recommend.

Superb day in very comfortable coach excellent driver / guide lunch was superb and the tour information was also excellent. Tour guides wealth of information was great he was also great fun.
