We booked a private charter trip with just my husband and I. Capt. Jimmy met us at our ship when we arrived in port. I was concerned with being seasick but as it turned out it was one of the best days of summer for fishing. Calm waters and sunshine! Capt. Jimmy was a wealth of knowledge on the waters and Alaska. He shared amazing stories with us and was so attentive. We were lucky to be able to catch 6 salmon that we could keep. King Salmon was not in season so we had to throw those back. Capt. Jimmy took care of taking the sip to a processing center so that we could have it sent back to our home in Florida. I t arrived just when they said it would. I hope to come back to Alaska again some day and would definitely book with this company again. Till next time.......

Capt. Mike was the best. Great boat and he put us on fish. There were four of us plenty of room. Caught limit of Halibut then went Salmon fishing. He is the best.

Had such a great time King Salmon fishing with Captain Mike in June, we had the opportunity in September to do it again 'Just for the Halibut'. As the summer salmon run was just about over and the fall run was just beginning, we asked Captain Mike if we could focus on halibut and if time allowed try for the early silver salmon run. Captain Mike isn't afraid to 'burn' fuel. He took us to one of his 'honey holes' about an hour south of Ketchikan where he felt the incoming tides would bring in the feeder fish followed by the halibut. He was spot on! We caught a veritable smorgasbord of cod, and rockfish followed a short time later by the halibut. The picture speaks for itself. Did I mention that Captain Mike isn't afraid to 'burn' fuel. After our limit of halibut, he then motored us about 30 minutes north of Ketchikan to the salmon grounds, where we had a ball catching King Shakers, watching whale pods 'bubble feeding', topped off by an eagle dive bombing for rockfish. From start to finish, Captain Mike provides excellent equipment, an excellent boat, and outstanding service for a most enjoyable experience! Can't wait to do it again next year!
