Escape the ordinary, just 8 miles from the French Quarter! Relax and leave your cares behind while you explore the lake side of New Orleans on a private 2 hour sail. Hop aboard a 47' luxury Beneteau sailboat called "Roux Stir", named for our love of a heartwarming New Orleans gumbo. Maximum 6 guests please.

Once onboard, all guests receive complimentary white wine, local craft beer, and light snacks. Listen to the boat glide through the water or enjoy your favorite tunes via Spotify.

Enjoy a 2 hour invigorating sail on the Southshore of historic & expansive Lake Pontchartrain, where you may spot a brown pelican flying overhead, and see the longest bridge in the world over water, the Causeway.

Captain Doug, a local New Orleanian with a passion for sailing, will ensure your safety. All proper safety equipment, life vests, and clean restrooms onboard.

We enjoyed EveryThing; the RouxStir, the background information of the RouxStir and Captain Doug, the views of the water ripples, the clouds, the weather, the champagne, the movement freedom on the yacht, the SUNSET...

Simply amazing! Captain Doug was wonderful! The sail was more than we could have possibly imagined. Can’t wait to do it again.

Capt Doug and First Mate Mimi made this an experience we will never forget. We did the 2 hour sunset cruise. We were picked up right on time at the Blue Crab restaurant. Capt Doug gave us a 10 min safety talk and Mimi provided drinks and snacks. The two hours went by so fast but the views were breathtaking as the sun set. I would definitely recommend everyone doing this at least once. It’s worth the money!
