Visite privée de 3 heures de l'âme de NOLA dans toute la ville

Aperçu
Our most popular 3 hour driving tour is an overview of New Orleans, traveling in the comfort of our luxurious Honda Odyssey minivan. We'll start in the French Quarter, where the city’s colorful history began. We’ll continue to the Marigny and the Bywater, two charming downriver neighborhoods, and get a sense of their changing history through the centuries and in the 14 years since Hurricane Katrina. We’ll proceed up mansion-lined Esplanade Avenue towards Bayou St. John and to City Park, one of our nation’s oldest urban parks and home to the world’s largest stand of mature live oak trees. We will continue upriver along iconic St. Charles Avenue through the University area into the fabled Garden District. Approaching Canal Street, we’ll pass through the Warehouse Arts District, by the World War II Museum and the Central Business District. A condensed presentation, this tour is great for hot summer months, (we’re in air conditioning the whole time!) or for visitors short on time.

I have mobility issues and struggle with the heat, so I booked a trip with Soul of Nola hoping it would enable me to see much more of the city than I could ever see on my own. Best decision I could've made! We had an awesome time with Derek, a 7th generation New Orleanian and NOLA history PhD candidate. He mixed a lot of personal history with general historical information, which greatly informed our understanding of the city, and we felt like we got to see all the tourist sites as well as a native's version of New Orleans. And he was fun! Just a great way to spend an afternoon.

Extraordinary! Our tour was guided by Cassandra, a passionate historian and gifted storyteller. She adapted the tour to exactly what we wanted, offered interesting ideas and perspectives, backgrounds, even her own experience, and left us understanding and appreciating New Orleans even more. Fantastic experience. Highlight of our trip.

Our tour was amazing. We love Cassidy, he is very knowledgeable and so friendly. We had such a fun and educational tour. Cassidy is very accommodating. He took his time and explained everything to us. We all feel like we know him as one of our friends, just hanging out and having a good time on a very hot summer day in NOLA. I especially appreciate him returning my phone back when I left it on his car. I highly recommend this tour and for sure I will let everyone know when they visit NOLA.
