What a fabulous day with the wild horses! We headed out early today to try and avoid the extreme heat, and the horses cooperated. The north unit was up in the hills, but the south group was just napping when we arrived. A few test photos, and then it was waiting and see what developed. We were gifted with a few aggressive moments between the males, lots of looks out way, and moving a little closer to check us out, but best of all was the 13 day old foal that went from napping with mom watching over him to nursing, to a family photo op with mom, dad, and the foal. Jen knows the animals by name, what behaviors to expect, and made sure that we stayed a respectful distance away at all times. As we left the south group, we found a couple of smaller groups on our way home. A truly magical experience!

My husband and I took the Sunrise/Sunset photo safari tour while we were visiting the Utah National Parks. It was a wonderful experience to end our vacation on. Jen was an excellent tour guide. She was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable on the Onaqui wild horses. She picked us up at our hotel early in the morning and drove us to the area where the wild horses are located. We immediately encountered one of the wild horse herds. With Jen's extensive knowledge of these wild horses, she anticipated that they would be moving to a watering hole. So we setup our spot near the watering hole and shortly thereafter the horses moved to the watering hole, offering us some great photo opportunities and viewing of these beautiful wild animals. Throughout the tour Jen provided insight about the horses and the management of these wild horses. It was amazing how she could identify each horse, knew their names and behaviors. In addition to this Jen was very respectful of the horses and their boundaries. If the horses were getting too close to us, she would reposition us to another location. She did a great job positioning us close enough to the horses to photograph and observe them, while also maintaining a safe and respectful distance from the wild horses. Jen also provided excellent photography hints while taking pictures, both on composition and lighting, as well as positioning ourselves with wonderful backgrounds. She was very willing to share her photography expertise with us, and answered any questions that we had. We highly recommend taking this unique tour. It was definitely worth taking.

An amazing experience! Jen makes it so easy and is so easy to be around. We are not professional photographers but just wanted to try something different and add to our ski trip. It was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend Jen. She wrote us the sweetest thank you note afterwards too.
