Without the need to steer, you’re unbound, able to look around at the wonder of this untouched stretch of the natural world, spotting blue herons, osprey, an occasional lounging turtle, perhaps a playful river otter, a deer munching on the foliage, and during peak berry season maybe even a bear.

This was a really fun excursion! The scenery was beautiful and the rail bikes were easy to operate. Our rail bike guides Johnny and Jake kept our safety as a priority while also being entertaining and treating us to their great sense of humor. They also provided historical facts about the area along our journey. I would recommend the rail bikes for anyone who likes a fun adventure!

It was a Great way to experience the railway and history of the skunk train. The rail bikes are great for couples , families and larger groups. The Glenn Blair bar is a great spot!!

What a rip off. Slow 20 minute train ride through the woods to a pavilion. Yes there was a bar but it wasn't open. No snacks, nothing to drink, nothing. Nothing to do for 40 minutes but play corn hole or with some wooden blocks. No giant Redwoods like you see on TV. My friend and I could wrap our arms around the tree and touch hands. Whistle blows back on the train, slow 20 minutes back to the station and that was it. Yes we were skunked
