Without the need to steer, you’re unbound, able to look around at the wonder of this untouched stretch of the natural world, spotting blue herons, osprey, an occasional lounging turtle, perhaps a playful river otter, a deer munching on the foliage, and during peak berry season maybe even a bear.

Deciding when to or when not to pedal and balance this with all the other aspects of the adventure. I'd give Railbikes an "E" ticket rating for the overall experience. A great way to ride the rails, get a little exercise (if you wish), and see Pudding Creek from a different perspective.

If you’re looking for a fun and not strenuous thing to do with friends this is it. Kids and seniors will love it! You can have a picnic or a leisurely walk among the redwood trees.

Whether you are looking for a little exercise on your vacation or just want to sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery in the Fort Bragg wilderness area, the Rail Bike experience is a must do. The professional guides make the journey fun and interesting and the journey through the Redwood forest and hike at the turning point make the experience even more memorable.
