River Fishing and Bear Watching

This tour is designed for cruise ship passengers who are looking for an Alaskan excursion that is off the beaten path. We’ll depart Icy Strait Point and drive through the Alaska Native Tlingit village of Hoonah before merging onto old logging roads that will take us to a remote river. During the car ride and along the river it is common to spot wildlife- the island has more brown bears per square mile than almost anywhere else on the planet.

Our experience with Natalie was once in a lifetime! My husband and I wanted so much to fly fish in Alaska and Natalie made that happen! She went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. If we are ever back in Alaska we will 100% be booking another trip with Natalie! Can’t recommend enough- you will not be disappointed!

Natalie was an awesome guide! She put us on a lot of fish and explained everything perfectly. Natalie also took us through her town and explained some history and fun facts. She above and beyond and took us to several locations to view brown bears. Natalie was very kind and very good at her craft… I would highly recommend her! Thanks Natalie from Kari, Jen, short Dave, and Big Dave! Grin

Natalie was a wonderful and very informative guide. We had a great time fishing and looking for bears. The fish were plentiful and kept us on our toes! Would highly recommend her!
