Our Sonoma Coast Kayak Tour takes you to the edge of the beautiful Pacific Ocean where we explore the Russian River as it meets the sea. Birds, seals, the occasional passing whale, and relaxing on the river are the highlights of this great day on the water. Expect to spend approximately 2.5 hours on this tour which includes paddling the river and walking on the beach while gazing out on the Pacific Ocean.

Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
Please bring water shoes or sandals.
We will get wet. Bring clothes you won't mind getting wet and consider bringing a change of clothes.
The weather at the coast can change quickly. Please bring an extra layer in case it is a bit chilly. It's better to have more clothes than you need rather than wish you had an extra layer.
Due to Covid-19 we are unable to supply food or beverages. If you would like lunch during or after your tour please feel free to bring something to enjoy or your guide can recommend some of our fantastic local cafes or restaurants.

We had a fantastic kayaking tour with Erik on the Russian River estuary! The pace was perfect for our family of 6 adults, in 3 kayaks, some experienced kayakers and some not at all. We saw otters, seals - who came right up to the kayaks, cows walking into the shallows to look back at us, swallows nesting, osprey, pelicans, oyster catchers, gorgeous trees and shores and at the end, a lovely short walk onto a beach where the Pacific waves were gently "crashing" and the seals humorously making their way with their single back fin from the estuary to the ocean. Erik was very knowledgeable, passionate about his love of the surroundings and nature, prompt, helpful, and extremely personable. Very highly recommended!

We would highly recommend this tour with Erik, the lead guide and owner. He is friendly, very experienced and since he grew up in this area, a wealth of knowledge. The paddling was at a perfect pace, the scenery awesome and the seals with their pups surfacing near our boats were an extra treat. A very special day.

Great day on the water with Erik! Other reviews describe our experience perfectly. The tour was exactly as expected.
