I booked a trip here with my mother based on the excellent reviews they had and now I know why! I have been whale watching before with the Horn blower cruises but there ship was so big you really couldn't appreciate the animals so far down from you. The ride out to sea was rather choppy so everyone was clinging on to the railings and walls. I think since it's a smaller boat you'll get that out on the ocean. I started feeling nauseous from all the rocking even though I've always had a strong stomach, i went to go get a ginger ale, which was $3 for a single can! They let you bring food and drink on board so i'd recommend eating a couple of hours before and bring all that you need so you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for soda, hot dog and chips. The staff was very attentive and were running around with barf bags for people. We saw our first blip of a pod of dolphins once we got farther out. Then we ended up seeing like 9 different pods. I held on to the rail with one hand and snapped pictures with the other and got incredible shots with wild animals being like 3-5 feet away from the boat! We also saw a hammerhead shark but i was struggling to stand up with the movement of the boat so i ended up getting the top of his fin in the water. We actually lost our footing and fell into the seat behind us. We didn't find any whales and did get sunburnt so reapply sunscreen like crazy there. They gave us a voucher for half off the next trip and tuesday & thursdays trips are only $24 per person. I would come back but more prepared with food, sunscreen and motion sickness meds.

It sounds like the sea gave you guys quite a ride out there. We do the best we can to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible, though it can be difficult with a smaller boat and big swells. Hopefully next time you join us, it will be a little smoother! Glad you were able to get some good shots out there! Thank you for your review.
