Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!
Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

Really memorable trip! We saw a large pod of dolphins and two fin whales. Went into the trip fully expecting to only see dolphins, but we were so happy to see the whales too. Just be careful of the sea sickness. Otherwise, would highly recommend!

We enjoyed seeing the sea lions at the beginning, but other than sea birds, we didn't see much else until almost half-way through the trip. Then we saw the first of many, many dolphins. Shortly after that we saw the first fin whale and it was a beauty! A second fin whale was sighted on the way back, even though we didn't see it ourselves. The narrator also took pictures during the trip and got some excellent shots of both whales, dolphins, sea lions, and sea birds, which we enjoyed very much!

We saw 2 whales and about 10 dolphins! Very informative and knowledgeable staff. I got sick because I ate a big sandwich and coffee just before we pushed off. The staff checked in with me and a few others, lol, the whole time. Very attentive and courteous. My husband was able to see the whales and that was most important on this trip. And he did! Thank you to the Crew!
