This was one of the best parts of ur entire trip to America. We stumbled across this as I googled whale watching to see if it was in our budget. We could not believe the price! We booked for a Tuesday which is buy one tickets get one free. When we first began we saw dolphins and I asked if we would see blue whales as this was the season. I'm a total jinx for seeing wildlife so I was a bit worried. My fears were soon allayed as we travelled out into the ocean. On the afternoon we were there we were surrounded by great spurts from the whales and I think we saw nine close encounters all up! The staff were friendly and helpful, the only downside was the people on the boat who were actively drinking.. They got louder and rowdier and the staff were bringing them drinks from downstairs. Maybe something to think about for the people that are really there to see the amazing sights of the whales. Other than that we couldn't fault the boat or the staff! Thanks for a trip of a lifetime!

Booked a trip with my wife and had a great time. The naturalist on board was extremely informative and enthusiastic about the sea life we encountered. While there are no guarantees on sighting a whale they do their best to maximize the chances. We saw a group of short-finned pilot whales, sea lions and lots of dolphins. I would definitely book with this group again. If you have never been on the ocean before, take medicine as several people became sick as the water got choppy. Bring blanket or long sleeve shirt/jacket as it gets chilly as well, even in July.

I have a degree in marine biology and have taken previous whale watches back home on the East coast. It was a breathtaking experience to see two blue whales out in nature. The blue whale is the largest animal on the planet. We also saw a group of California Sea Lions hanging out by the bait area along with a harbor seal, which is uncommon in that area. After seeing the blue whales, we continued out to see over 350 common dolphins. One of them was no bigger than a football; it was a baby that was born within the last couple of days! I would go back in an instant if I didn't have to get on a plane first!
