Aperçu
The 2nd Annual Art Crawl Trolley tour runs Jan 10, Feb 14, Mar 14, & Apr 11, 2025. Book your boarding time (every 15 min) on one of 3 trolleys that visit 6 art district locations on a 45-min tour route in downtown Sarasota. Arts districts include: Main St. N. Palm, S. Palm, Burns Ct., Towles Ct. & Limelight District. Visit 20+ galleries & studios. This tour includes hop-on/hop-off transportation to all art gallery hub stops.

$5 from each ticket will be donated to The Arts & Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County.

No guide will offer any tour content but staff & volunteers will direct you to all galleries & tell you about each district. Three trolleys run in rotation every 15 min from 4 PM – 8 PM. If you are unable to catch one of the trolleys back before 7:45 PM, you are welcome to take an Uber or walk back to the Trolley Cottage.

Before you board, browse our Trolley Cottage Gift Shop & enjoy complimentary beer/wine. ALL guests must be 21+.

This was delightful tour in the evening to visit three different types of art galleries. Wine and celebration permeated the superb visits with an array of artists, gallery owners and auction opportunities. I had no idea Sarasotas art scene was so lively and diverse. The tour guide was knowledgeable, with a sense of humor, and a an excellent ability to keep us on time in spite of allowing usjust the right amount of time to see work, chat with artists and owners, and view collections. A plus for the successful tour.

Enjoyable and informative journey stopping at 3 art galleries spanning the area of Rosemary District, Main Street, and ending in Hillview area. We met the gallery owners and they shared their art collections and workspace with us while answering any questions we had. Each location hosted light drinks and appetizers. Along the way historical structures and sculptures in the city were also highlighted. Lots of fun and a good way to get a sense of the visual arts culture in Sarasota.

Hidden gems. Great tour with Jerry pointing out art that I'd drive by and not notice before. Galleries were diverse in their offering all in all a fun evening.
