Land trolley thru historic Savannah was interesting and informative. The paddle wheel boat ride never happened due to mechanical problems.

The land tour was OK, we got on the boat for the sea tour, got our beverages and lunch, sat and waited for almost an hour only for them to tell us that the cruise would not be happening. So we all had to get off the boat with no idea how we would be refunded, a very disappointing afternoon.

This tour was a fun way to spend most of a day. Kathleen was an amusing bus tour guide (although she seems not too fond of men- or just comfortable making fun of them). We also toured the History Museum and the train museum at the Welcome center starting point because both were free that weekend with the Bank of America Museums on Us program. Small downsides: we chose the 11 am departure from the Welcome Center, which meant there was no time to get lunch on the Riverfront before the boat left. We got lunch on the boat (not included in the tour) which was not too badly priced, and the shrimp basket was very good. If we had chosen the 10am departure, we could have eaten at any of the restaurants nearby. The views from the boat are not all that exciting because that area is mostly industrial, but we just enjoy time on the river.
