Bonaventure Cemetery
During this 2.5 hour tour, you will be joining a very exclusive club of people who have seen the cemetery after it closes to the public. You are literally locked in the cemetery the entire time; for the right taker, there's no price you can put on the joy of that. Imagine having the serenity, stillness, and quiet of the cemetery, uninterrupted by the living world. Some of the stories that will be covered include those of: • A "hooch runner" for Al Capone • A bizarre love story that ended in one murder and one visit to the electric chair • Savannah's role in The DaVinci Code • Lady Minerva & Jim Williams in Midnight in The Garden of Good and Evil

Don't miss this tour that is full of surprising facts and anecdotes by a master storyteller. I have been to Savannah over a dozen times but this was the first time adventuring out to Bonaventure Cemetery. I learned more in 2 hours than in any other previous tour about Savannah.

While some families may not be comfortable doing this with their kids, our 9 & 12 year old boys loved it! Shannon was a great and informative storyteller. It was fantastic to hear the history of some of the current residents of Bonaventure. He mixed in facts, with rumor, humor, and a little bit of fear in a perfect blend that kept everyone enthralled. We loved hearing our kids retelling bits of their favorite stories from this evening. Why just settle for a typical tour when you can spend a few hours after the cemetery closes and soak up the spirits!

We have been on many tours, some good, some bad. This one was totally different in fact I really hesitate to call it a tour. what Shannon provides is more of a walking history lesson of Bonaventure cemetery. his knowledge of the cemetery is quite extensive to say the least. As far as activities in Savannah go, this was the high point of our trip. no trip to Savannah would be complete without this experience providing of course that this is within your interest area. thanks Shannon delightful 3 hours we would definitely do this again.
