The lively Deep Ellum entertainment district is known for its vibrant street murals, quirky art galleries and long-time concert venues for indie and blues. Isaac was friendly and engaging. Our walk around Deep Ellum included several murals. Most fun was Jazz alley, which none of us had ever seen before. Food included brisket, “Texas Twinkies”, chili, pie, and soda. More history of the area and the murals would have rounded out the tour.
