Excursion en kayak à Siesta Key

Just a few minutes away from all the hustle and bustle of Sarasota is our favorite local beach, Turtle Beach. It is only a few short miles from the main Siesta Key beach to Turtle Beach and the Sarasota County trolley will drop you right there. Not only is this area such a beautiful and quiet place, it is also a great place to paddle!

We start on the intercostal and paddle down a short canal to the Bay. We paddle around the mangrove islands through a mangrove tunnel or two and alongside a bird rookery.

We paddle around the mangrove islands of Jim Neville Marine Preserve and then to a "secret" beach. This beach is only accessible by boat so we may have it to ourselves. Such a beautiful place for a quick swim or just stopping for a few moments to relax. You may want to stay here all day.

This location is home to all kinds of wildlife including manatees, dolphins, beautiful sea and shorebirds and lots of fish.

We will pull our kayaks and paddleboards out of the water for a quick walk over the sand dune and to the Gulf of Mexico. From here, we will stretch our legs, maybe take a quick swim and just relax. This is a "secret" beach---only accessible by boat, so we may have the area to ourselves. It is such a beautiful and isolated beach--a local favorite.

The times listed on the website were not actually available - I was charged and need a refund - the actual company stated they could not refund me as I booked through trip advisor. Would recommend updating available times. Friday at 10 am was not actually available which I only found out after booking and being charged.

Hi, I am so sorry for the confusion. I went back through our records and don't see this booking. If you did book with our company and we weren't able to give you excellent service--I apologize. We try to make sure our website is up to date and that refunds happen immediately when needed. However, there is the occasion that things don't go according to plan.
