False advertising! There was no such thing as Skip-the-line Statue of Liberty tour. There was no access to the pedestal. You basically go on your own without a guide to Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty Park. Called to request partial refund, but no one cared enough to call you back. Don't make the same mistake by booking this tour!

Our experience was horrible. The coordinator Caesar was not organized and was hard to distinguish who he even was. Nothing told us to look for a man with a yellow scarf?!?!?!?! Once we were able to get "checked in" and jump through the hoops to get on the ferry we rode out the the Statue of Liberty. Once on the island our guide tried to get us into the Pedestal when we ere all told that our tickets would not allow us entry. All 37 of us were denied entry by the park services for invalid tickets. What kind of business doesn't know who to even get a tour into the place they are touring. They all had no clue of how we were supposed to get in. They had QR coded tickets (3) out of 37 people, but even three of us couldn't get in. The whole tour broke apart at that time and were basically told to give ourselves the rest of the tour. We were not given any kind of tour at all for $140.00 we got a $50 ferry ride. I am requesting my money to be returned. DO not do this tour with this company. They are clueless. Tour guide was nice and apologetic, but again Caesar was totally incompetent at his task at hand.

So, if you plan in advance, you can buy tix straight from the statue cruise line for MUCH cheaper. Our battery park tour guide was great, but didn’t warrant the extra expense. There was a ticket mix-up and most of our group were given tickets much later than the time we booked. They remedied some, but we were delayed a bit. Not sure what happened with the rest of the group.

I have reviewed your reservations and you purchased the pre ferry tour with Pedestal access. Dec has been sold out for months for the reserve fast tract access and access to the pedestal which is located inside Lady Liberty and allowed you to climb up 193 to the observation deck. We pre buy these tickets months in advance to secure a special experience to our passengers. There is no delay. The federal parks commission at times stops the line for security purposes and then reopens to allow additional passengers in. Number 1 concern is safely and security and there is airport like security for everyones safety.
