This is how their mushers keep them in shape during the summer season. And afterwards, you'll cuddle with adorable Alaskan Husky puppies that will one day grow up to be sled dogs themselves! We loved every minute of this excursion! From the suspension bridge and learning about the Iditarod to meeting the dogs and of course the puppies!! Obvious the dog sledding was the best part! It was so much fun!! We definitely recommend it to all!

The experience with the Sled Dog company was very informative and done very professionally. The grandkids especially like the puppy session.

It was a wonderful experience to visit the Dog Sled Camp, meet the working dogs and puppies and go for a sled ride. On arrival we were met and introduced to our guides - we had Mark King - an excellent guide and current musher who gave us an excellent overview of the history of dog sledding and mushing in Alaska from its early days to the present. We were shown the gear they have to wear to withstand the extreme weather while mushing. We learned all about the dogs and how they work and their lives. Fascinating how the mushers place each dog in the line up. It was a very interesting experience - so thank you Mark for sharing your expertise in such a lovely way. I would also like to thank Scott our driver who drove us from the ship and back - a lovely young man who told us lots of interesting information about Juneau and the surrounds going to the camp and on our return, Scott was extremely pleasant and helpful assisting us in and out of the van in the pouring rain. Excellent staff and a great experience.
