This was a fun and educational excursion. The staff were friendly, informative, and were concerned for the safety of the guests and dogs. We were able to meet the dogs up close and then take a short mile "sled" ride with 16 dogs pulling us. Afterwards, we learned more about the history of dog sledding and saw some Iditarod equipment. The best part was visiting with the puppies and holding a few of the sweet pups. This was an excellent experience (especially for dog lovers)!

This was a lot of fun. Very interesting how the musher knows each dog and where to put them in the lineup. These are the less experienced dogs; they spend winters in the UP of Michigan and are moved to to Juneau for summer camp, which includes personalized training. The puppy experience is also great.

Mark King was an excellent your guide. As an active mus;her he had lots to tell and presented it well. Also spoke clearly for my old ears. He was very aware and helpful with the other grandma and her walker. Good job, Mark King.
