This was a great day trip that packed a lot in. The airboat tour was super fun and we saw lots of alligators. Laura Plantation has an excellent tour that tells the lives of the people who lived there. The Houmas House tour focused more on the house - itinerary didn't tell much about the plantation, or show the grounds which are beautiful. I would have preferred the tour have a different focus, but that is just because my interests are a bit different. The house was still interesting. Isabelle was very proactive about communicating. I had sent a question about accessibility and she called me shortly after. That was a nice personal touch. Our hotel pickup was before 8am and we didn't get lunch until 1:30, so you may want to bring a small snack with you.

Loved it! Been wanting to do an airboat and gator tour for a long time and Dalton, our airboat driver made it such a fun and exciting experience. Stephen our driver picked us all up right on time and was so nice and very knowledgeable about all the areas he drove us to and around, we all loved him. And the guides at each plantation (Pam and Darrell) we’re so knowledgeable about the plantations.. Pam especially knows her stuff from the history of the place to the people who lived there. We just loved the all of it. Great experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gisele was a wonderful guide. It ended up being a very small group and Gisele made us feel so welcome. The swamp boat portion of the tour was great. It was amazing to see so many alligators around the boat and fun to ride the airboat. The plantations were beautiful and very informative and realistic about a dark time in our history.
