Be prepared for a long day. However, you will definitely see a large portion of the island and it’s highlights. From black sand beaches to turtles to lava tubes to volcanoes and much more. Additionally, you’ll enjoy a relaxing and delicious lunch at a local bakery and a comfortable ride in a Mercedes van. If yout lucky enough to get Katie as a guide, sit back and enjoy. She was outstanding !!!

My daughter and I loved this tour. Our tour guide Dominic was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was good, especially the lunch at a bakery. Seeing the glow of the volcano lava at night was amazing! As was the lava tube.

Dominick the tour guide was 5-star A+. He gave amazing details about the Island and was talking almost non stop from the get go at 8am. We arrived back at our hotel at 9:30pm. Dominick knew the Island like the back of his hand and gave unbelievable details about little things - fruits, veggies, plants, coffee, history, lava, volcanoes, and what have you. If you ever visualized an ideal tour guide, it was Dominick. But the tour itself was ok. Definitely expensive and if you have a car and 4 people, definitely do it on your own. The downside is you might not get the nitty gritty details of the Island. But you do save a lot of money. If you wanted to just the volcano then the tour is a total disappointment for the kind of money you will be spending. If I were to do it again, i would go on my own. Then there is no Dominick, but you save money. You pick.
