Very good day trip to West Rim, did the Skywalk, saw Eagle Point and Guano Point. Very informative. Not too long a day either. The only problem I had personally was knocking my head hard on the interior of the jeep when I got in for the first time. You must duck your head down big time!! Hoover dam was a good trip (more for my husband than me)

Very comfy jeep travel for the long day out -10 hours round trip. Small group of 9 in the jeep. Couple of stops round the west rim plus hoover dam tour. Managed to spot quite a bit of wildlife along the way which was a lovely surprise. Pack lunch provided that was pretty good - sandwich and snacks Plenty of time at the canyon to wander about and take photos and soak up the atmosphere. Wouldn’t recommend doing the dam tour (entry to tour is in with the ticket price) again, as the tour did not show as much as I had hoped it would. Pretty expensive day out $300 each but I’ll only be there once!

We were picked up by Andrew our guide for the day on time. we then picked up another guest and Andrew went through health & safety and the events for the day. Drinking water was provided. Andrew was polite, courteous & very knowledgeable, We asked many questions about Las Vegas, the canyon & other state facts too which he was able to answer most. A real credit to Pink Jeep Tours. The journey first took us to Dolan Springs where we were able to use the toilet and buy some food from the local shop. sandwiches were made on the spot if that's what you wanted. Then on to the Canyon chopper airport. you will be asked for identification. there was a short wait then we were led to the chopper which was flown by Rich who was very friendly and keen to tell you all about the tour. The ride itself seemed very quick & we were down in the valley within minutes. we when got out for pictures and had about 15 minutes there before getting back in the chopper. Once back at the airport you have about 10 minutes for buying souvenirs. Back in the jeep and on to the main viewing spot of the Canyon. The view is amazing and you can pay about & extra $50 to go out on the glass viewing deck but BEWARE they won't let you take pictures which seems a bit stupid & why no one on our tour bothered. You then have a complimentary lunch before taking a walk along the Canyon for more amazing pictures & Q & A's. Back to the jeep them off to the Hoover Dam. There is winding road on the way in & you have to have your camera ready to take pictures as you approach. You then park on the primary (other) side of the dam and get out in the far car park for pictures. Note that you don't get the chance to actually walk the dam which was a shame. Still the view is of the lake and intake side and is great. Back in the jeep to a cowboy town theme park. not a lot there for adults other than ice creams which were lovely but took forever to make which left us no time to do anything else anyway. Kids would probably enjoy it more. We all enjoyed the day and would definitely recommend it to others.
