What To Expect

Grand Canyon West

Your first destination of the tour is the Grand Canyon West, home to the famous Skywalk. Start off at Eagle Point where you have the choice to experience the Grand Canyon Skywalk (for an additional fee), browse the rim of the canyon, or check out the native village where you might see some dancers! Next up, you'll head to Guano Point. Here, experience 360-views of the canyon and beam down at the Colorado River below. Enjoy some BBQ lunch and have some free time to yourself at the canyon. Your expert tour guide will talk about the geology, the Colorado River, the mining and the Mojave Desert at the West Rim.

Hoover Dam

Head to the Hoover Dam after your Grand Canyon West experience to see this engineering marvel. Enjoy some free time at the Visitor Center to check out the souvenirs and purchase some snacks. Your guide will walk you across the Hoover Dam and talk about the Hoover Dam history, geology, Lake Mead, and more. ** Please Note - Due to COVID-19, the interior of the Hoover Dam is currently closed **

We had an amazing tour of the Grand Canyon west rim, and loved the Skywalk (additional charge, but well worth it)! Next it was onto Hoover Dam which was awesome. The whole day was made so much more enjoyable because of Jerry (our guide). He was so informative, fun and helpful with our photography! Lunch was provided, with plenty of water for the whole day, and lots of stops for shopping etc. So pleased we chose a small group tour. We would definitely recommend this company, and especially Jerry.

A great tour! It’s a long day but worth it! We did the west Grand Canyon so you get to do the glass bridge and see Colorado river. We did a bit of walking. A great BBQ style lunch, with vegan / veggie option. Grand Canyon is amazing, feel so small! We stopped at Joshua tree park which was really interesting and a great photo stop and we stopped at hoover damn on the way back which was really interesting. Our guide was great, so knowledgeable and took lots of pictures. Dropped us right back to our hotel! Jeeps were bright pink, comfy, good amount of rest brakes when travelling (it’s about 2 hours each way).

This was an amazing day! Booked the Trekker tour, and it was well worth every penny!!! There were 4 of us, myself, husband and my 21 year old twins. John G. (picked us up at the Venetian) was our tour guide - He was beyond amazing. There was a possible total of 10 people and with luck it was just the 4 of us, so we had a Private tour. And a boxed lunch was included and all the ice cold water we would need. Well worth the cost of the trip. John G., our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and extremely friendly, about the region, the tour and everything local. We had such a great day. The jeep Trekker was comfortable. And it was a long day but it did not feel like it. Would definitely use them again!
