A little hiccup with hotel pickup and driver was 1( minutes late without a courtesy call. Make sure day before confirm where they pick you up. Get phone number! Booking agent Viator was terrible however Ernie the driver was best-full of information. Luxury 6 seater van.Comfortable ride. Superior Knowledgeable about Hawaii and all the flowers and trees along route. Be prepared for 12 hour day . Starts at 7 pickup with breakfast and lunch provided! Food stops were good. 620 curves,(oh boy). Some make you nervous so close to edge but Ernie knew how to drive this road! There are numerous bridges and waterfalls- breathtaking.. Ernie navigated the road so well. He knew all special places to stop for photos. Black Rock Beach was unique. Preserve place-don't take rocks. Cool cove next to beach. Waves are rough- be careful!!!! They provide beverages too. We stopped at end of road which we did the whole thing west to east. Saw surfers and huge turtles who come to sun on beach! Ernie has deep respect for island and nature. Respect and preserve it!
