Your day in California wine country starts as you hop aboard the Sonoma Wine Trolley, modeled after the famous historical cable cars of San Francisco. Enjoy the breeze as your knowledgeable tour guide whisks you off to four outstanding Sonoma-area wineries, known for both their wines and their hospitality. Each wine tasting takes place at the winery and a representatives at each winery will explain the different varietals you’ll sample and the background of the wineries (wine tasting fees are not included and you can expect fees of $30 to $40). There will be wonderful photo opportunities on this tour and your friendly guide will be happy to take a photo or two of your group so you can document your memorable day in wine country.

The driver/guide had a wealth of info. on Sonoma and the wineries. I give him a 5 star...however, the price we paid did not include the wine tour at Ravenswood winery, which was NOT explained. They basically met us with a glass of wine next to the trolley and we had no way of saying no to the tour, especially since we did not know there was an extra cost involved. Kind of sleazy from the wine trolley company. The extra cost was $20pp for the tour. The gratuity was NOT included for the tour guide either....it should have been explained on the website as well. What they need to do is add ALL the costs to the tour itself and tell the guests that they don't need to bring ANY money unless they want something outside the ordinary or buy bottles of wine. This nickle and diming seemed juvenile. Charge $50 extra for the tour and include gratuity and that tour....and forget this extra this and that....this tactic is not honest and very sleazy....therefore I will only get it a 3 star. The driver was great! Fix this please!!

Hello and thank you for reviewing your tour with us! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the driver and he provided excellent commentary for you and the other guests while driving through the beautiful Sonoma Valley. As for how the tasting fees and driver's gratuity are not included, that is made very clear on our website and brochures, our reservations team always mentions it when taking orders over the phone, and it's even in the confirmation ticket you received via email. We do not charge ahead of time for any tasting fees because it is up to the guests whether or not they want to taste and pay the fee, same with the driver's gratuity. I hope the confusion didn't damper your time on the trolley as we'd love to have you come back to the valley for another tour! Thank you and a have a wonderful day!

We had the pleasure of spending three days in Sonoma and were lucky to book this trolley tour. It was such a great way to experience the sights and enjoy the weather. All the wineries on the tour brought something different to the table. The lunch was absolutely delicious. The tastings are not included in the cost of the tour, however you do get personalized attention at the wineries. Should we return to the area in the future, we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We had Guy as our driver and were promptly picked up at our location. He was very personable and funny. Had the whole trolley rockin' with old school rap and music. Three of the four wineries were so friendly and glad we were there. After trying 20+ different wines, it was great to have a safe ride home. GO KNIGHTS! CHARGE ON!
