Stop at 3 different wineries to sip and swirl fine Northern California varietals. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour. On this tour, your friendly and knowledgeable guide will take you to three wineries for tastings. You will visit Sonoma's top historic landmarks and enjoy lunch during one of the scenic stops. The tour starts at 10:00 and and ends around 4:30.

Arrived on time, trolley not too full. Glad we switched from a Friday to a Sunday. Personable drive and gave great facts. Was not pushy when it was time to go. Played great music. Got to see four wineries and two of which I hope to return to again. Would recommend they not have them so far apart but happy with the ones we attended, all had very reasonable tasting fees. Lunch was AMAZING! Even with rain and cold it was still a great time. Would do again for sure, worth the money!

Thank you for your review and suggestions. We constantly are looking at the route and make changes based on our reviews. We try and keep the wineries different now and then and with Sonoma so spread out it can be tricky. Glad you loved lunch and the tour.

My wife and I, along with my parents(in their 80's) took the Sonoma Valley Wine Trolley. None of us are wine drinkers...I like my beer and my wife likes her wine coolers and my parents are non wine drinkers but wanted to see vineyards and maybe have a sip or two. Paul(our tour Guide) took great care of my parents getting a step stool out so they could get off and on the trolley. None of the wineries cared that my parents did not want to taste their wines. For the non wine drinker...the Moscato at Ravenswood is fantastic and the Port at Mayo comes in a close second. Overall a very enjoyable day...provided lunch was very tasty. Would very much recommend.

Thank you. Coming from a non wine drinker that was a wonderful review. While we love for people to enjoy the wines at each location its not mandatory and should feel no pressure to taste the wine. Its just a great way to explore and see the valley.

The trolley was a great option for our large group. There were nine of us visiting Sonoma and we chose the trolley so nobody would have to drive and we wouldn't have to come to a consensus on which wineries to visit. It was a fun way to get around and it was great having a driver who took care of everything - including an amazing picnic lunch. The first winery we visited, Ravenswood, has amazing hospitality. Staff were there to greet us with "breakfast wine" as we got off the trolley and they took us on a comprehensive tour of the vineyard. The last winery, Mayo, was small but also hospitable. They had a special menu for our group. The other two wineries (Buena Vita and Valley of the Moon) seemed less than thrilled to host the large trolley group though. They weren't really prepared, although I'm sure they received adequate notice and do this often. Other vineyards we visited on our own later in the trip had much better service.

Thank you for the review and information. Im surprised the Buena Vista was a let down as they normally are a big hit with our groups. I will reach out and see if possibly they were short staffed.
