Experience the Sonoma wine region in a unique way – on a San Francisco-style trolley, for an open-air ride through rustic, sun-kissed Sonoma Valley. Stop at 3 different wineries to sip and swirl fine Northern California varietals. This open-air trolley will let you experience the picturesque vineyards like no other tour. On this tour, your friendly and knowledgeable guide will take you to three wineries for tastings. You will visit Sonoma's top historic landmarks and enjoy lunch during one of the scenic stops. The tour starts at 10:00 and and ends around 4:30.

If you want to see a few different wineries and don't know where to go, we recommend the wine trolley. All together it cost us about $170 per person, including the trolley, vineyards, water all day, lunch and the tip. Joe our tour guide was very fun, entertaining and knowledgeable (he really made the trip AWESOME)!!! We got to go to 4 different vineyards, drink great wine, and meet some pretty cool people along the way- we got some new facebook friends!. There was water available all day long and the lunch was actually really good!!! Ravenswood- $20 per person, you got to go in the vineyard- get a little bit of history, taste wine and eat the grapes, they talk was a little to long, and it was hot, but the wine was good and it was a good experience. (it was the most expensive of the 4) Buena Vista- $10 per person and it was our favorite of the 4. The wine was great, the property was beautiful. The tour was great and again the wine was great, so was the cost)! Imagery- $15 per person, property was nice, but we just went into a room to sample wines (which was great)! Mayo- $5 per person, the owner Jeff Mayo was there, he took us into the barrel room, and we drank and sampled wines the whole time. The port wine was amazing..

One of the best ways to see 4 vineyards in a day. Cause if you want to see and learn about the wine in this area and drink it, enjoy the ride on the trolley. Brian was awesome, full of good info and took us on a great ride. All of the wine tasting rooms were well presented and waiting just for us with a glass already poured. Lunch was outstanding from the Girl and the Fig, catered after the 2nd stop on premise with a glass of wine. Plan on buying wine at each stop, you will want to. They have a very organized system to bring you from each place. By the end of the ride I was having so much fun and was glad that I wasn't driving, you will be too! We ended up having dinner with new friends that night who were also on the trolley ride. A must do if you want a wine tour. Way more fun that riding in a limo or enclosed bus. Everyone was waving at the trolley and the drunk fools on board!

We enjoyed everything about the tour except that we had to move from the trolley to a bus. It was still worth taking the tour, though, as we learned so much, and enjoyed the various wines.
