This excursion is designed for people who have never tried diving to get a feel for it. It consists of an in depth theory lesson, the practice of some shallow water skills, and then an open water dive. No prior dive experience is necessary. If you do enjoy it as much as we hope you will, you can use your dive and your skills towards the PADI Open Water certification. You must complete a medical questionnaire (we will provide) prior to your excursion and have the ability to swim. Previous experience snorkeling is recommended.

Second time ever “scuba diving”, if you count being in a pool 5ft deep the first time. We got down to 30 feet (I was comfortable with that, you only go as deep as you want) and saw all sorts of cool stuff. Mike was an awesome and very calming teacher, and got me past my initial fears of breathing through the regulator and emergency procedures. Favorite thing I did on my vacation in Maui. Gonna pursue full scuba certification because of it!

Our family came to Maui for a one week vacation planning two dive days and four dives. We had only been certified, without any actual dives. Michael gave us an excellent refresher discussion on the way out to the dive site, which put us at ease. He assisted us with all of the equipment which he provided to us. Michael carefully guided us down to the dive depth as we began a wonderful tour of ocean life, abundant fish of every kind, eels, coral life and a massive turtle that came around a coral ledge slightly above our depth which seemed as interested in us as we were in it. We explored caves and formations called the Cathedrals. Safety was the highest priority. Michael is so knowledgable, kind and helpful that every dive was an amazing experience. Upon returning home, I happily discovered a large photo album which NeverDry provided to us without charge. Great dives and great photos to preserve priceless memories. I plan to return to Mauii for vacation and to explore new dive sites. I will seek out NeverDry to guide those dives. I highly recommend this find company and Michael!!!

My two sons (13 & 10) and I had a great first scuba experience with NeverDry. Leading up to our trip Jennie answered our questions and was very knowledgeable. Our dives with Michael were all that we hoped for. He was very patient with both of my sons, who can be difficult to have patience with at times. Michael took a lot of pictures of us during our dives. We appreciate the photo souvenirs and memories that will last a lifetime.
