This excursion is designed for people who have never tried diving to get a feel for it. It consists of an in depth theory lesson, the practice of some shallow water skills, and then an open water dive. No prior dive experience is necessary. If you do enjoy it as much as we hope you will, you can use your dive and your skills towards the PADI Open Water certification. You must complete a medical questionnaire (we will provide) prior to your excursion and have the ability to swim. Previous experience snorkeling is recommended.

We took our sons (ages 12 and 15) to do the Discover Scuba through Never Dry Divers this past week (Nov. 2018). All the pre-trip communication was done with Jennie, and she was very nice and very organized. My husband and I were a bit nervous about taking our uncertified sons diving, but Mike and Brittany were both so knowledgeable and professional that it put me totally at ease. We had both divemasters out with just the 4 of us, and each of them kept a close eye on the kids, so I felt totally safe and that on the off chance that there was any issues that came up, I knew that they would be dealt with quickly and easily. We saw lots of colourful fish and several turtles. Highly recommend these folks for diving.

In short: I can only confirm all the positive reviews. First contact with Jennie was very friendly and I received all the information like directions and DSD questions etc promptly by email. Michael gave us the safety and other instructions informatively and in an entertaining way and then we already went for the dive. We were actually a group of 1+2 persons and had two instructors Michael and Brittany. Brittany took care of me during the dive and as it was great I definitely wanted to continue with the second dive. We saw plenty of this miraculous underwater world (so many turtles! :) and I surely will continue diving. Last but not least - price is very good for the value. THANKS to Brittany and the team, very recommended!!

Michael is really friendly and a capable instructor. My son and I took a dive with him and had a blast! Thank you Michael, we will be back next summer!
