This small-group tour is limited in order to maintain an atmosphere suitable for the ghost walk.

  • A Ghostly Encounter’s Storm Policy (as follows)
  • 1. A Ghostly Encounter tours operate rain or shine. Florida weather changes rapidly and is unpredictable, and we monitor our weather prior to all tours.
  • 2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
  • 3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
  • 4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.

Amazing tour by Sheriff Arty!! The art of storytelling is not lost. What an amazing and refreshing tour. Sheriff Arty captivated me, my husband, and our teenage son and daughter with his ghost tour. Just past sunset was a perfect time to go as it definitely added to the mystery.The Sheriff wanted to make sure we got the full experience and went over his allotted time, to make sure to answer all our questions., The conclusion of the tour, in the moat of the fort, was an amazing conclusion. This walking tour was the only was to go. Much better than trolley ghost tours. Excellent tour
