Sunset Sail de Traverse City avec nourriture, vin et cocktails

Wind down and relax as our captain and crewmates teach you about our elegant schooner and share stories about the history of the lands, people, and waters of the Grand Traverse Bay area. Enjoy complimentary locally sourced food, wine, and cocktails while watching the sunset paint the sky. This is a 2.5-hour sail.

Check-in at our kiosk 30 min before departure. The 2nd Mate will do a brief welcome about 10 min before departure and then will guide all passengers to board Wind Dancer. We have a variety of beverage options including wine, cocktails, local spirits, soda and water. Food is served around 1 hour into the sail. We respectfully request that guests not bring additional alcoholic beverages. Free parking is available at the check-in kiosk, which is located at The Delamar Resort, 615 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI. Depending on the weather, please bring rain gear/sweaters and non-skid footwear for boating. Tours will be rescheduled if necessary due to inclement weather.

It was a gorgeous evening and the temperature was a comfortable 70 degrees with warm winds coming from the North. The crew working the ship were professional and hospitable making the experience very enjoyable. Thank you Captain Nate, Erica and John for a fantastic sunset cruise.

Crused with my wife and enjoyed every minute. Crew was very accomodating and worked hard to make sure everyone had a good time.

Unfortunately we were left on the shoreline wondering what could have been such an amazing evening. The operator of the Dream Crusher cancelled 2 hours before we were to set sail because they said they didn’t have enough people signed up. I’ve never heard of a business doing such a thing. I called and ended up hanging up after some few choice words, which they deserved. Of course we were provided a refund but that’s besides the point, you don’t cancel two hours before departure just in the same way I’m not allowed to. You didn’t get enough people to book, tough, that’s the cost of doing business. What could have been a romantic, personal experience that we would never forget, we are left with a different experience we won’t soon forget for all the wrong reasons. Shame on you Dream Crusher.

We contacted you early in the day and left a message. We offered you options and other sails. It appears that you did not listen to your voicemail messages. There is no excuse for the profanity that you used, the name calling, and abuse you heaped on to our team member as they tried to communicate with you. As the owner when I contacted you, you talked over me, threatened to sue, yelled, and used more profanity. It warranted a call to the police as we concerned about safety. We have contacted Viator and are sharing the recording of your profanity.
