Hands down the most amazing thing I did in Hawaii. As a solo traveler I felt welcome and involved. The crew and the other guests were great. It was a small group so very personal. Unfortunately there were no dolphins this day - BUT it’s because pilot whales scare off dolphins. So instead of swimming with dolphins we got to see a pod of pilot whales as well as jump in the ocean and watch them swim and dive below us. It was incredible. There was even a mama and baby!! And the sea turtle dive location was full of turtles just chillin. Right there, all around you! You won’t see reefs and fish on this dive so if that’s what you’re looking for go somewhere else or book a reef tour also. But this is truly a once in a lifetime experience and I highly recommend it. Even Julie, the owner, got a little giddy about seeing the whales. She said they see them only a couple times a year and this was a really special experience. It was lovely to see the crew so excited and not just phoning in their work hours. We did see a pod of spinners playing on our way back in to shore which was fun to watch. I went in March. As a desert-dweller I was afraid the water would be too cold for me, but it was pleasant in just a bathing suit. I am terrified of sharks so I was a little worried that would affect me negatively, but the moments were so majestic that my irrational fear evaporated and anyone and everyone should do this experience! I wish we could have dove longer, even though it really was an adequate amount of time. I would have stayed out there all day if I could! The crew was knowledgeable about the area and passionate about the animals. The pickup ride is very early but it was nice to meet the other guests and chat a little and watch the landscape and oceanscape from the van. Do not let the early morning call time deter you. We were back in Honolulu in time for me to have a full afternoon of hiking and sight seeing! (I was only in HI for the weekend.) Bring sunscreen and a hat/sun glasses and a towel! You can buy a photo package if you want so you can enjoy the moment not try to live it through a camera. I highly recommend leaving the cameras on the boat. Just experience it. Hands down 100% absolutely completely worth it. I now recommend this specific company and tour to anyone who even mentions the thought of visiting Hawaii. Do not under any circumstance cheap out on this trip and look for something cheaper or shorter or less experienced. It was worth every single penny. Buy this. Now. What are you waiting for?

What a fantastic trip. Saw a ton of dolphins and turtles and the water was amazing. Oh yeah, lots of whales too. The crew was great. Julie, John, Frank and all made it so much fun. They genuinely enjoy what they are doing and want you to have fun, too! Highly recommend! Even my wife got in!

Cancel the trip twice ! Never got to experience it. I was really disappointed considering this was booked 2 months advance.

These two cancellations were due to high surf in northwest Hawaii, and events such as inclement weather and disasters were force majeure. All other operators have also cancelled their tours. We are very sorry to hear of these force majeure cancellations. After the first tour cancellation due to high surf, we rescheduled your reservation, but the sea conditions continued to be rough and unfortunately the rescheduled date was also cancelled. We hope you understand that this was a difficult decision for us to make for the safety of all our guests. Mahalo,
