This is a three and a half hour tour with lots of food, information, and a good amount of walking. The restaurants and shops ranged from the traditional bbq to more experimental cuisines.
Angee, the guide, has a wide knowledge of food, local history, and the current social environment of the city. Our group had a wide variety of interests and we never once stumped her with a question. We ranged from high schoolers to grandmas and she provided something for everyone.
One member of our group lamented that they should have taken the tour at the beginning of their visit instead of the end because Angee suggested so many interesting things to do or see. Good plan.
Be sure to read their FAQs page, especially about parking. And if conversation ever does lag, ask her about trapping beaver in the Minnesota winter.

Kay, thank you so much for the lovely review! I am so happy you enjoyed your tour, and that your pups enjoyed that spa day. San Luis Obispo welcomes you back anytime!
