Rob encourages participation and ensures that his volunteers and the rest of the audience have a great time.

He is the winner of the Philadelphia Houdini Award and a recipient of both stage and close-up magic awards from the Society of American Magicians.

A little comedy, a few magic tricks — some worthy of a chuckle and an eye roll — but our guide was well rehearsed, entertaining and engaging. The neighborhood walk was lovely, and even the younger people got a taste of history.

I took my camp group of 12 year olds on this tour and Robert was very knowledgeable, funny, and accommodating. I highly recommend it!

The comedy magic tour with Robert Malissa was tremendous! The walking tour with his magic and illusions along the way was an interesting and entertaining way to see the parts of Philly that are not included in other touring venues! His magical, artistic approach and winning personality kept the interest of young children and adults proving that his idea to combine magic with history is definitely a winning combination! We highly recommend this tour as it gives you another way to view some of these hidden city gems and hear the stories of the past that are off the beaten path while being “magically” entertained!
