The subways are a nightmare!!! The food was great. I used my pass for many attractions, like Statue of Liberty,Ellis Island, hop -on and off tour,Empire State Building, Wax museum, Woodbury Commons Shopping trip and ripley's believe or not. We ate at three different restaurants on our pass and saved 30.00 on our meals. DON'T go to the NewYork gift shop on 7th. ST., the owner WILL NOT HONORED the discounts as offered, NOT worth the walk!!!!!
The card was good but using it at certain attractions proved to be inconvenient.
For example, in order to to use the hop on and hop off tour bus, I had to visit the Sightseeing visitor center to redeem the ticket rather than being able to redeem it at the hop on and hop off bus itself. To make it worst, the queue at the Sightseeing visitor center was so long. Another example was I was not able to redeem the ticket for the Statue of Liberty cruise because the scanning machine there was not able to recognise the QR code on the printed voucher retrieved from my email.
I bought the flexpass tickets to see the Statue of Liberty and take a tour of Ellis Island with my husband. My favorite part was the relaxing boat ride to the island. We enjoyed the views and had a legendary time walking around seeing all angles of the statue. Also, the complementary audible tour guide was nice and taught us everything we wanted to know.
