This is a (great) virtual experience, first off. I've been to the High Line before but never really 'got it'. Listening to Kitt Garrett explain why it was a big deal, how it was made and all the amazing buildings nearby was priceless! I'm planning to go back to visit NYC later this summer and I'm now planning on another trip to the High Line to see the parts I missed before. Here's a really great part: you can download a PDF and open it on your phone so when you visit, you'll have all the best information with you. The other part I liked is that the narrator (Kitt?) is very easy to listen to and explains everything in a very fun way. Even weird things like 'air rights' are understandable the way she explains it. (And air rights are apparently very important along the High Line!)

Thank you for your review and excitement to visit the High Line looking for the sites along the way that you missed on previous visits! The High Line has certainly changed from when you first visited with more new buildings opening and changing the neighborhood and the views from the High Line.

Since travel borders are closed, what better way to enjoy NYC again than with a wonderful tour by Kitt Garrett. Not only was it packed with great intel including info on the Titanic and how Oreos beat Hydrox! but also great insight into all the new architecture that has come about thanks to the High Line and the benevolent wealth and planning behind it Its a MASTERPIECE both the HighLine and this video! Don't miss it You even see where Barry Diller lives - something for everyone! Dont miss the bit on live burlesque! All all delivered with aplomb by our host - Kitt.

Sharing the secrets, myths and truths about New York City's history and sites during Covid has been a labor of love. Allowing you to hear these stories so you can explore the City in safety on your own, when you want has been a pleasure to create. Remember to download the pdf of the virtual tour with the addresses. You can find the locations of your favorite stories, photograph and upload them into Tripcast to create your own memory book!

I found the virtual tour to be fascinating. Kitt provides little know facts that are interesting and well presented. I look forward to visiting the High line in person and having the guide with me. It will add greatly to my appreciation of the area.
