Wonderful insights from knowledgeable guide Katie into the brilliant women who set the stage for Cold War politics with their social power plays. Lovely walk through Georgetown with its gracious architecture. Love that Katie dressed in hat and gloves and party dress to set the mood!

The entire walking tour was great, much better than an indoor academic lecture. Seeing the houses where the leading lights of our country actually lived, interacted and influenced world history was inspiring. Nice to find out about these ladies, they deserve more recognition for their impressive contributions. I shall be scheduling more tours as time permits. Loved the lunch break at Martin’s Tavern, est. 1933 and getting to know others on the tour, a lively and interesting group. Our Tour Guide was exceeding well informed and provided a thoughtful pace.

Another amazing tour with Katie! She's done a ton of research, and shares it with passion and panache. This is clearly a topic she cares a lot about, and I learned plenty of new things about the movers and shakers in Georgetown in the fifties and sixties.
